Fear of Flying

Post-Surgical Pain Relief
I saw her to address post-surgical pain related to bladder cancer. A few days after our first session I noticed that I hadn't even realized that I was feeling better. The pain had been very intense and distracting. After one session it was gone! I was so used to having discomfort every day, but in its absence I was able to focus on other things, and was so much happier in general. I've had several more sessions since, and each time is a little different, but always magical and mindblowing.

Postpartum Depression
I have had profound relief since seeing Denise. I struggle with postpartum depression in all of my pregnancies. My family and I have tried everything to remedy my mental health during those seasons of life but there was a deeper type of healing that needed to happen to solve the problem that I wouldn’t have been able to achieve without the help of Denise.

White Coat Syndrome
I have terrible white coat syndrome. My primary care doctor said I have an epic case of it. At home my blood pressure is normal but when I go to a doctor I can send it through the roof. I also get anxious just thinking about the doctor. I decided this year to work on myself and a functional doctor recommended Denise Dempsy. Working with Denise has changed my life. Through visualization, breathing exercises and hypnotherapy. I have had 4 sessions and each time I have made progress. This last Doctors visit I was able to use the techniques Denise taught me to calm myself down and to bring my blood pressure down. I will continue to work with Denise through this journey. She is absolutely amazing and she takes the time and care to get to know you individually. Denise also has amazing follow up. I highly recommend Denise.

My Three Sessions with Denise
First, I will say, Denise is a highly skilled, intuitive, kind, and talented hypnotherapist. My sessions with her are always wonderful and I feel at ease and safe in her presence whether online or in person, which I am so grateful for.
I just finished my third session with Denise and once again, my life is changed. Each session, I've targeted a different issue and I've seen incredible transformation as a result of every one.
My first session, I targeted an intense, decade long issue around sexual trauma. The changes that took place were unexpected but so profound. I truly needed the help of my unconscious mind to reach new solutions that my conscious mind had been spinning its wheels over.
My second session was around money issues. Since that session, I have already seen changes in both my bank account and prospective opportunities in both of my businesses. The most notable difference with this one has been my mindset. And I could go on and on!
This last session, I targeted my relationship with food and even just 10 minutes after the session as I write this, I FEEL SO DIFFERENT! I feel lighter and so relieved that this issue is no longer weighing me down.
And just like Denise informs me, it can take a few days to integrate the changes. Now that I have some experience with these sessions, I know this to be so true and I'm looking forward to the fascinating part of watching as life shows me the results of todays session.

After Suffering a Loss
I first felt a draw toward Denise and her hypnotherapy work based on a friend recounting her visit. The hook? The friend said Denise Dempsy asked her to wait or have three sleeps after her visit. The friend, a skeptic like me thought, “so I can then tell you it didn’t work?”
Now, what my friend then proceeded to tell me were the occurrences of minute but grandiose experiences/ changes/ shifts that happened since her first appointment. You know when someone hits you right where it hurts/is scary/sad and you feel that flame inside your belly/chest/heart? That emotional triggering? Well, one of the things that hypnotherapy can help with is that giant, perhaps misplaced emotional response/PTSD.
For me, losing my only parent at a young age there were layers to work through and talk therapy felt like I was unknotting something that couldn’t untie. While in her office, before going through the hypnosis stage there was a short sharing period.
Denise helped me clarify stories or themes that had once gotten me to a triggered state and then she started. Don’t expect to be knocked out. Don’t expect to be “under a spell” but do expect to be totally welcomed in a safe and, thoughtful space. Being relaxed and calm is what it feels like.
It was helpful to have a video call before the appointment to see what I might want to focus on. The BIGGEST thing that helped was Denise saying that I couldn’t do it wrong, while in session.
Now I feel loved in corners I hadn’t felt before and nothing around me has changed. Nothing anyone can see that is. Not feeling weighted by fear is liberating for myself and others around me who have also notice my shift. If I knew and practiced the art of chakras, I’d say my heart chakra is full.
